The Car

Engine: 1380cc, 285-equivalent cam, modified head, 45 DCOE Weber carburettor, 7.5" clutch with roller bearing release, c. 90bhp @ wheels Good "Fast Road" spec.

Gearbox/rear axle: Currently standard gearbox with 3.9 or 3.7 ratio differential. Rolling starts and sweeping corners do protect transmission

Wheels & tyres: 5J Wolfrace c/w FISC-spec Bridgestone B250 Evo 155x70x13. 

Body: 1-piece fibre front end, everything else steel including bootlid.

Midget Racing

In 2007 I raced in the FISC Eurotour/Legendary Circuits series driving my MG Midget (see panel left). FISC is a great series for a busy racer, with 10 races spread over 4 weekends meaning maximum track time without interrupting every weekend - it really suits my lifestyle.

The camaraderie in FISC is unbeatable, race hard together, then we help each other repair cars and wine & dine together in the Spridget Cafe. Gentlemanly driving is mandatory, tall tales encouraged!

For 2008 I'm taking a short sabbatical, just taking in the MG Car Club International Weekend at Silverstone with nothing else planned.
